United we stand! Union members and their families are gathering on July 19 from 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm in Peace Plaza to show the City we are AFSCME strong. Our bargaining team is working hard to bargain a contract that aligns Salem's wages and working conditions to match comparable cities. The City's proposals push us further backwards.

By coming to the rally, you show the City that moving Salem backwards is unacceptable. Members will be speaking on how the City's current proposals and takebacks affect them and their co-workers. Elected officials and the press will be invited.
