AFSCME LOCAL 2067 NOMINATION & ELECTION NOTICE

Officer positions open for election in 2023 include:

• Vice President
• Secretary
• One Executive Board member
• One Trustee position

Nominations will be accepted in person at the March 9, 2023 (Pietro’s, 1637 Hawthorne Ave NE, Salem) and April 13 (Salem AFSCME Hall, 1400 Tandem Ave NE) general membership meetings starting at 5:30 p.m. Members may nominate themselves.

When there is only one nominee for a position and that nominee has accepted the nomination, the unopposed candidate is declared elected. If needed, ballots will be mailed to members’ home addresses by May 19, 2023. Votes must be received at Salem AFSCME Hall 1400 Tandem Ave. NE, Salem, OR 97301 by 5 p.m. on June 7, 2023 

All members in good standing will be eligible to nominate and to vote. Only those who have been members in good standing for one full year are eligible to hold office.
